Over more than twenty-two years I have worked every side of the table: as a contractor's commercial director, as a client representative for government works, and now sitting as co-arbitrator and acting as counsel in arbitration. That perspective is what clients value most: I understand not only what the contract says, but how delay and quantum disputes are actually won and lost.

My practice combines three disciplines that rarely sit in one advisor: the engineer who has delivered billions of dirhams of work, the contract specialist with a Master's in Construction Law and FIDIC certification, and the arbitration practitioner who sits as co-arbitrator and acts as counsel before DIAC, ICC and SCCA tribunals. It means I can build a delay or quantum case from the site records up, and defend it in front of a tribunal.
